Gloriole Also known as a “halo” or “icebow,” this optical phenomenon causes a bright circle or rainbow around the sun or moon. Glorioles can be seen year-round, but are always caused by ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere. The Gloriole Slouch is a cozy cabled design that knits up surprisingly fast. Made with a merino/cashmere yarn in worsted weight, it begs to worn and worn often. It is very versatile and dresses up or down easily.
