3. Shipping

Orders are shipped within 1-3 business days via usps First Class or Priority Mail using biodegradable weather proof packaging.  International shipping to all countries is available.  Shipping rates continue to increase and prices are based on my calculations using Endica.  If a price seems uncertain to you, please email me and I'll get you the most accurate real-time costs.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:  My preferred method for shipping international orders is First Class International carried by USPS.  Although it is more economical,  items shipped with First Class International can not be tracked out of the USA. I encourage you to purcahse insurance or upgrade to Priority Mail International.

LOST ITEMS: I am a small business and unfortunately I can no longer refund lost packages. Although the USPS has done a great job of shipping several thousand packages for me,  Insurance and tracking is highly encouraged!  It is the buyers responsibility to choose the shipping method safest and most reliable for them.

4. Custom Orders

I do accept custom orders on my yarns and fibers that are in stock.  Occasionally I will offer large group orders on certain colors, if you have a large order it may take several weeks to complete.  Please email me for more info.

5. Wholesale Orders

I currently ship my yarns and fibers all across the USA and over seas.  If you feel like your shop is an ideal location to showcase hand dyed yarns, please contact me.

6. The Hand Dyeing Process

My work is often spontaneous. I find colors to be the most amazing and inspiring when allowed to meld, allowed to transform and with little rules. I use many dyeing methods to achieve my desired results and dye in small batches of 6 skeins or less.  I do not consider slight spotting, blending colors or variations within and between dye lots to be a defect.  These results are natural due to the methods I use.   Uniqueness and variety are an enjoyment in the process.

If you need to ensure your project has closely matching skeins/fibers please be sure to order enough at one time to get the closest matching lot. Skeins will never be identical, but each a part of an overall color scheme. Please take time to alternate skeins while knitting or crocheting, it is something that should be done even with commercially dyed yarns- hand dyed yarns even more so.

If you are ordering a custom item from me, please be mindful of the above statements. Dye to order yarns may vary slightly from the photograph shown. I can give 3 or more photos as examples of how colorways will shift from one dye lot or yarn base to the next.

Professional dyes are always used. Care is taken to ensure all dyes are properly set and rinsed. Please use cool water and only mild wool wash when needed. Minor run off is expected on some darker and more brilliant colors but should not stain other areas of the yarn. If it does please contact me and we'll get it fixed for you!
